The SGH-I897ZKAATT Samsung Captivate has obvious problems across the nation. Why hasn't there been a re-call? Why doesn't Samsung honor their warranty after claiming they will? Why wouldn't they want a happy customer instead of losing one with 4 of the same product?
We verified the IMEI and Serial number over the phone with Samsung who issued a pre-paid UPS shipping label and repair order. When they received it, they emailed and said it was NOT under warranty. When I called them back, they say it is, then it isn't, then it is, then it isn't. Made no sense, would not upgrade my call, could not explain or answer my basic question. These phones are defective, they are undependable, unusable and should be replaced or repaired. We're switching to Motorola phones as we can upgrade.
