Asking for feedback, with no way to provide it

Our family had trouble with Bell and made a series of calls to sort out a double billing issue. Shortly thereafter, we receive a voice message from Bell, asking for our feedback on their customer service.

We were eager to provide our feedback about the absolute lack of service we had received and the 10 hours of calling that had been required to deal with the matter over the phone. We should have known, however, that the request for feedback was a farce. The voice message asked us to press a number on our telephone to leave a response. A recording told us that number could not be reached from our area code (506). There was a toll-free number to call as an alternative. You guessed it... The number could not be reached from our area.

Man, to think we were gullible enough to think Bell cared for our feedback on their customer service. Worse still, that we wasted another 10 minutes trying to give feedback to deaf ears.

It's truly so pathetic, one has to laugh.in my opinion customer service is part of a required process for Bell, likely to comply with regulations from the CRTC. If you ever get through to them and provide your opinion, I truly doubt they would even listen to it anyhow.

I'd recommend Bell stop wasting customers' time. We're eager to deal with other providers and will be moving on so. Let sleeping dogs lie meantime.
