After cancelling my services with Bell Canada due to ongoing overbilling, errors in billing, rude customer service and MANY written complaints to Bell Executive like an idiot I went back a month later when they called to win me back as a customer.
The extent of lying and false promises has left me with a very bitter taste. They tape all calls and verified the "agreement" that was offered me, but stated they could not honour it.
I cancelled BELL PHONE, BELL EXPRESSVU and SYMPATICO as they would not honour the agreement and requested they attend at my residence to pick up the above mentioned equipment which was all packed and ready to be picked up.
I have made numerous attempts to have the equipment picked up by Bell to no avail.
On a positive note I have now signed up with Explore Net which offers "high speed" and have now purchased a "Magic Jack" which allows me to call anywhere with no long distance fees and a mere $19.95 a year.
I wrote "Stephen Bickley" Bell Canada's Vice President of residential phones in early December and to date have not had any feedback. Not only do I get "no feedback" regarding the matter, I am being "billed" every month for money I do not owe. It is funny how they can recall my contact information to try to illicit money from me.
After 38 years as a loyal customer with Bell Canada, this is how I am treated.
Horray for our Federal Government allowing an American telecommunications company into our Country to "shake up" these large, disrespectful corporations!!!
Bell canada... Shame on you for your total lack of consumer regard.
