I filled my vehicle Reg (Personal Information Removed) with diesel at pump No1 to a total amount 46.22lts @139.7p =£64.57 {have copy of receipt}
The next day i became aware my car was not running properly and as it is under warranty i booked it into the local Toyota garage and advised them of the problem that it was intermittently losing power and not pulling properly. They carried out diagnostic checks and no fault was found although they agreed there was a small hesitation and that they suspected poor fuel quality and that it might clear itself.
However the fault worsened until the vehicle broke down on the A90 dual-carriageway and the AA breakdown vehicle having failed to diagnose a fault concluded it had to be contaminated fuel.
The car was returned to Toyota and you can see from the invoice contaminated fuel was again the cause and the next move was a complete fuel system flush.
The fault is now clear.
