An amount of US $2.50 was taken from my MasterCard debit card account by Rasshelp.com. I did not know what this was for since I'd never heard of this company. I tried going to the website, but my McAfee protection software popped up to warn me about proceeding. The 800 phone number shown was missing the last digit. All in all, very fishy! I promptly reported this to my bank and closed that debit account and opened a new one. With luck, this will solve the problem going forward, but I don't imagine I, or anyone else, victimized by this company, will ever see my money back. Small as these amounts are, they are still theft and would add up to a tidy sum if the crime were perpetrated on many people.
