I received a text to my phone saying that "my entry last month has WON! Go to Target Contests.com and enter your winning code 74873 to claim your FREE $1,000 Target gift card with 24hrs."
I opened the text because I had entered a writing contest earlier this month, but realized it was bogus when I saw the reference to Target. I hadn't entered a contest at Target. I haven't shopped at Target and, because of this incident, won't shop there in the future.
I don't use my text features because each one adds to my bill, and I live on a limited income.
