I just watched an episode of "Blood, Lies & Alibis" regarding a family consisting of an elderly, disabled woman, her son and her granddaughter/his niece who were the heads of an atheist organization based in Austin, Texas. The family was kidnapped, robbed and murdered. During the show, FBI agent Donna Cowling felt the need to express her personal views regarding the organization's goal of encouraging the government to uphold the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Ms. Cowling disagreed with this goal, despite her role as a law enforcement officer and her pledge to uphold the laws of the United States (which includes the Constitution), though she admitted at the end of the show that despite their heathen views, the family "still didn't deserve to die." REALLY!?! I am so sick of this sort of intolerance being tolerated!!! I am quite sure that had this been a family in a Christian organization and had the views expressed by an FBI agent been degrading towards Christianity, ID Discovery would have edited the agent's comments out of show. Worse, it is an FBI agent's job to uphold the laws of this country, and, like it or not, the Constitution is the pinnacle of United States' law. Why is she still an agent if she publicly denounces the law in her capacity as an agent? Why is this channel encouraging her behavior?
