I received a text from cell # 760-310-6799 on 11/15 @ 3:50PM PST stating that "Your entry has won! Go to http://bestbuyrwd.com to claim your $1000 Gift Card". My gut instinct told it's a scam... I didn't enter any contests! I looked up the # online and came up as a cell #; then looked online and nothing, and finally called the # and the auto-message stated that the mailbox is full and can't take any messages. I finally came across this website/blog, and feel relieved that I followed my instincts to not fall for such stupid crap.
So it seems these scam artists are modifying their company name and numbers... Hopefully folks will wise enough to do some common-sense research.
