I was contacted in october 23...
Promised me great profits for sending local business emails to them in exchange for commissions, 4% cash bonuses, and recruiting other agents to get them business. Tricked me into buying $299. LLC designation and $20 monthly website hosting fee. This is a complete and total scam.
I have been contacted by 2 people patrick greene with mmc (merchant marketing corp.) he is suppose to be my personal trainer he told me that i needed 350.00 for leads i told him i did not have it... He told mer he will call me back tomorrow and did not... I called him his phone had been disconected...# 1-866-990-7483.
A call came in later that day from paul strickland # 623 225-3451 stating that mr patrick was fired and that he will be my coach now... He told me that i would need to buy leads from a company call ngb consulting llc... They will also setup my website for me as well need to pay $450.00... They had me up to this point... When he call the company on 3 way i notice that her voice is the same voice that call me on his behalf to tell me that he will contact me on tomorrow morning because the company had approve me for 2500.00 for advertising and i don't have to pay it back ever... But any way... She answer the phone she sounded nervous i asked her how did i have to pay for this she said through western union... So i asked was paul still on line with us... We both called his name he did not answer she said he must have hung up... She gave me the info for western union the company head person attn... (echo-mauree arnold) i told her i will call her back... She also gave me an address as 400 west osborn rd phoenix, az 85016... But the website has east osborn rd... I called her back ask her questins just to confirm the info she stated the same info and ask is something wrong with western union or something... I told her no... I just wanted to be clear on all info. I told her i will call back she told me make sure i get reference #.. I said ok... I realize that all the #'s that was called in from him was the same... Thats when i realize i was being scammed.
You all need to report this to federal trade commission - 1-877-382-4357 and also to your state attorney general office...
