Dear Sir:
On august 10th I received a phone call from Jason that works with first Benefit Links. He was offering a free new 2.2 gateway computer and that because my credit score has come up that I was being offered a MasterCard with a limited of $1000.00 this was going to cost me $354. At the end of the conversation I asked repeatedly was I getting a computer 2.2 gateway in the mail and a credit card application for a MasterCard. I repeatedly asked was this a prepaid card and was told no, this offer was being made because my credit score had improved.
Than on august 27th you with drew the money from my checking account and on October 1st I received and incomplete package. No computer, no application for MasterCard thru a bank of my choice, as was offered in the first connect.
On October 1st I called and was told what I was miss taken and that I received a application for computer (hard driver) and if I wanted a keyboard, mouse, screen that would be additional amount plus I was to paid $199. For shipping and handling. Also in this package I did not receive an application for my MasterCard. But I did receive a book to purchase manufactured coupons for grocery. I call immediately to ask and was told that the company had shipping problems and that my application for a MasterCard would be mailed on Monday October 4th. Also that I was not getting a computer but an offer for a computer.
On October 8th I called again about this application and was told that the package was shipped certified mail, on October 13th I called and was told again that the package was already shipped priority mail. On October 15th was told that the priority mail was shipped on the 15th and that I should receive the package in about 5-7 days. Well on October 26th I received a package with a different computer offer (again for 2.2 gateways and to buy the piece to go with the computer separate. The MasterCard application was for and Prepaid credit card or stored credit card. This is not what was offered me.
I did not received anything that they offered me on August 10th and I am not going to pay for 5 pieces of paper and dish out an additional $1500 to get what was offered.
I am asking for this money to be returned to me and I will return your five pieces of paper.
I have already contacted the upper ny state bbb and have report this and have put a warning on the internet. Please send a CHECK FOR $354 DOLLARS that you deducted from my account in the next 5 business days. This has been going on to long. Next step small claims court.
