I was duped into paying $194.90 from elias jules a sales rep. With tri star platinum rewards. I asked elias several times what is the catch? I was told that i would recieve a credit card for $2,500.in order to qualify i would need to pay a fee over the phone. I was concerned about the product so i asked for his phone number and i would call him back. I did this to see if his number was real. Several weeks later we recieved a magazine with a credit card that we could use the credit card to purchase products from this magazine. This was not what we were told we would recieve. Elias jules told us that we would recieve an unsecured credit card for $2,500.
I called back and asked for a refund, which was guaranteed if we were not satisfied. The procedure was to return the product with a letter to their address. Later i found out this address is a post office box in a mailboxes etc.
I made many attempts over the next several months to speak to accounting departments, supervisors, presidents of companies... I was given the run around, my check has been cut however, it would not be sent out till the 20th of the month. After several more months, no money, no response, and i have been lied to. I am angry and i am mad. Later i had no responses from the phone number above, i contacted the state attorney generals office. They could not do anything about it, and i should be gratefull that it was only $194... Later the phone number was disconnected - the phone company will not help me, nor will the post office.
Can somebody help me discover where & who owns this company? Where are they really located? Is there a place i can find the names of the officers, owners, employees. Who was this company that took my $194 out of my checking account. Where is this company registered. Where does elias jules live? If there was a telemarketing company involved where is this telemarketing company located? I will travel wherever i need to go to make my situation right.
Any information would be appreciated... I feel duped - and i am mad.
