Sometime in I was tricked into buying a "vacation of a lifetime" from a phone solicitor with Special T Travel of Casselberry Florida. I paid $389 with my VISA and was told that I had two years to take the trip or could call and extend the deadline if needed.in January I received a call stating my vacation was about to expire. I explained how I was dealing with a daughter with mental illness who had recently tried to commit suicide and would not be able to take a vacation. The caller stated I could pay an additional $190 to extend for another 2 years. I unfortunately agreed. I since read horror stories about Special T Travel vacations and decided not to take a vacation and let the $588 paid so far be an expensive lesson. Today I received a call from Consumer Services of America (Jay Williams, Sr. Acct. Mgr.), stating that if I let the vacation expire, I have to pay a $990.00 forfeit fee or have my credit ruined.
