Yesteday I was on busy logging onto facebook when a survey pops up and says I will win a min of $5 prize for filling in the survey. After the short survey, something pops up and says I must pick from 1 of 2 prizes. I choose Ziinga.com where I "win" $90 for just $3. After giving my credit card details I get a receipt that says total cost $6.70. But the contract is binding for 3 months... Subscription $89.99 per month.
On the receipt it also states that you get 7 days free Platinum membership.
I phoned them just now and they said I can pay the cancellation fee of $53 before the 7th of November to cancell. I must just e-mail them and request their bankdetails... I insisted that I wanted to make a direct deposit and not a credit card payment.
I have e-mailed them and are still waiting for the bankdetails.
THIS IS SUCH A SHAM! I feel sooo tricked!
What can we do to stop this!!
