Clicked on an internet pop-up win an ipad.
Filled in my phone details but when it requested my credit card details I stopped & thought I had cancelled.
Turned out they send 3 or 4 premium sms on one day to charge $15 or $20 per week to my phone bill.
When I received the emails I knew they were spam so didn't even open them.
Only later I found out I was charged anyway!
Had to ring the phone company & get them to bar the sms.

The phone company advised I ring their customer service department 1300 354 411.
I rang & got a US voice. Polite but wouldn't do anything to refund the money even though I didn't open the sms's.
Recommended I send a complaint email to [email protected]
