My husband got a letter in the mail from COUNTY CHECK SERVICES stating that he owed $777.00. They said they have acquired your worthless check paid to the merchant ADVANCED AMERICA for the purchase of goods and services. It said he had 10 days to remit payment to them or they would have to take legal action. Signed by a "Kimberly Newport" Check Fraud Management Department. The letter was dated for October 10. The company address is COUNTY CHECK SERVICES 7000 McLeod Road, Ste 147 Niagara Falls, ON L2G 7K3 and then 655 Pullman Avenue Rochester, NY 14615
They have 2 different fax numbers also (888) 510-6317 and (888) 859-4501. I did not bother calling, I went right to Google.
