US Army Audit Agency
Discriminated against me

This is a warning to those who are interested in employment with the federal government, specifically, the US Army Audit Agency (USAAA). I used to work for them and was fired for unacceptable performance even though they (the USAAA) did not provide any formal on-the-job-training as required by their very own regulations.

One of the easiest ways to fire someone is to make their performance look substandard (they are very good at it) and that's exactly what happened to me.
I have never been really sure what motivated them to fire me but I have an idea. I was concerned about the working atmosphere at my job site on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. A few of the females there spread malicious gossip (I suppose most gossip is malicious, isn't it?) about me.

This gossip mainly included rumors that I was having an affair with one of them. Not true, of course, but the rumors still spread. Dia Fields, a worker who was a GS-9 (I was a GS-7) and evidently liked to throw her weight around was mainly responsible for these rumors. She spread these rumors with the help of her associates, namely, a Christine Patty and a Kayla Smothers. They had it in for me. Why, I don't know. Anyway, I complained about Dia Fields. Unfortunately I complained to the DOD IG but I did it anonymously, therefore, I could not bring up the fact that I had been discriminated against because of filing complaints.

I was the only white man on a team of three black people who also had it in for me. They were Cleotis Emerson (a workplace bully with delusions of manhood), Maureen Vaughn (the female who probably wanted me and that's why she was so against me), and Chana Ragan (her hate for me as a white guy was palpable). All three of these people worked to sabotage my work products in an effort to get me fired. It worked. Why not? I had already complained to Linda Howard (my supervisor's supervisor) about the treatment I was receiving from Chana Ragan but she (Howard) just ignored me.

Evidently the legal counsel at the USAAA has made sure that probationary employees can be fired for unacceptable performance even though they were never properly trained by the book.

Another problem I had was with the Managing Auditor (Floyd Hughes). He was a tub of lard and black too. He did'nt care for me either. He was the supervisor of Dia Fields and she would always go to him and tattle about others (including me of course).

Anyway, I was getting very suspicious about the way things were going and so I wanted to contact the EEOC. I asked Floyd Hughes how to contact them. Big mistake by the way. He told me. The next day I was fired.
