I hired Pearson Simon for a complex business lawsuit. They required an enormous retainer fee of $50,000, but I paid it because they were supposedly the best and the lawsuit should have been worth over $1 million. After billing my entire retainer away on "preliminary research" they told me that I didn't even have a valid claim. Well, it would have been nice to know that before they blew through the $50K! Now they won't answer my phone calls or return my emails. Hopefully scmabook can help me get some of my money back.
