I purchased a product from healthy and active 9/25-
the product was defective - i call healthy and active 10/3 and informed them of this. I was told to mail the product back. I did so by means oth the us postoffice with a tracking slip. On oct 11, i called healthy and active to check on the disposition of the returned item.
Aylssa, manger, said they had not recieved the item in question. Having already check with the post office, i knew they attempted to deliver the item 10/6 at 8:41 am, and no one was there. They left a attempted delivery slip at said time. 5 days later, it still hadn't been delivered.
I informed alyssa that the package had been sitting in the post office now 5 days.
Alyssa told me that this company doesn't go to the post office to get packages, and it's the post office's fault that the item hasn't been redelivered. Alyssa suggested i contact the post office. I took alyssa's name, and told her i'd call her right back after calling the post office.
The post office told me that the slip they dropped there alllows for them to pick up the package, or arrange for a redelivery date.
In order to cut thru the red tape, i pretended to be healthy and active, and arranged for a redelivery on the 12th at 11 am (typical business hours).
Then i called alyssa back to explain that they were responsible for arranging a redelivery with the post office, and per the slip left by the post ofice.
Alyssa told me it was not their job to get the package from the post office. Implying, that if the post office doesn't deliver the package on their own accord, they (healthy and active) wouldn't worry about getting the package.
The postal pprocedure being if the package wasn't claimed in 15 days, it would be returned to sender.
This clearly means the company doesn't care about customer satifaction.
When i told alyssa that i took on the responsible of getting the package to be redelivered at 11 am the following day, she replied " who said we'd be here at that time?"
i responded if i had no business to get them to deliver the package at that time, then they/she could be calling and arranging for the delievry ppersonally. Healthy and active doesn't coordinate with the post office for delivery, and don't want the customer to arrange it either. That cleary means they aren't accepting return items, or not going out of their way to get returns. If your package is lucky enough to get there when they can't refuse it is the only way it seem they get returns-
i lost it on the phone!
Further more, (after having the phone hung up on me several times, and me promising to call ever minute till they accept the return at 11) alyssa told me if they get the package the next day at 11, it would be in the warehouse, and she would have no knowledge of the arrival till she is notified by them, (and as would i be notified) by email, that the package had arrived..
The length of time that would take is undetermined..
This means they can let the package sit there till dooms day-, and alyssa, and or healthy and active has no obligation to resonable (if not) speedy service..
I won't be able to do enough to damage this companies reputation, and business.
I suggest any one who reads this find another company to do business with.
