1999 Nissan Sentra was advertised on Craigslist with a photo of an ALL WHITE car stating it was in great condition inside and out. I was assured by Ricardo Wilhelm, who said he "owned" the car, that it was a great car and had no problems. The car engine is leaking oil bad, no lights in dash, driver side key hole is frozen (cannot open door with key), and hood of car is black! After signing an agreement between us, I get to the DMV and realize the title is in his supposedly wife's name so I had to get her signature. I got her signature. However, DMV said the bill of sale between Mr. Wilhelm is void because it must be between the car owner and buyer. This man wanted an additional $700.00 for the car that is in need of major repairs and not worth the selling price. He originally asked for $2200 on craigslist. He said he plans on starting a business for car repair. Do not buy a vehicle from this man. He has a Chicago driver's license so make sure of the owner's name and ask where he is from.
