We have a timeshare at Grandview Las Vegas Similar to others at the time of purchase we were told we could sell or rent our units when we did not require same.
However (we are Australian) when we, asked to register it for rental we were told we could not unless we had a USA Tax Number.
Current emails to Grandview resulted in little assistance but with persaverence we have now been told we can—we have yet to try registering for same!
When we asked about selling Grandview Customer service quickly went out backwards, telling us to find out how to do it ourselves, and BEWARE THE SCAMS. Not much help!
We were told that the Berkley Group will accept back a Quit Claim Deed from Owners, but I am having trouble getting details on the handover process—do we get any money or not—still waiting
I must say we have stayed at Grandview and were quite happy with the resort and the staff.
The unfortunate part is that we have been misinformed like yourselves, and it is a pity that Grandview takes the option to not assist their owners
Would it not be nice if Grandview was to support their owners in geting some action against their commission sellers who have misrepresented their product
