My business partner filled out the contact form to get more information about ICS's merchant processor, He gave the company basic information about our company and asked to be contacted. We were contacted by salesperson "Randy" who signed us up for what he called numerous times a "90-day Free Trial", where if we were not satisfied we could cancel anytime within those 90-days, send the equipment back and be done... Well, that sounds a lot easier than the most important information they left out. All we ever received was the equipment and stickers for credit cards accepted. Never received any terms, agreements, papers that we "agreed to"! I called in to cancel before the 90-days was up because we did not even use the credit card machine once, I filled out the cancel request form, equipment was overnighted to them and that was that. No one ever mentioned anything about fees, contracts, nothing.
Three weeks later, I find that this company withdrew $295 from my checking account and was giving my bank a hard time giving me the money back. This is where the claws came out from these LYING, SCAMMING, FRAUDULENT people. They called it a "Termination Fee" for canceling my contract. A contract I never agreed to, or signed, or even had any documents for. I filed a complaint with the BBB and their response back was "We obtained the IP address where the initial form was filled out and applied that as your electronic signature as entering a contract". WHAT KIND OF ILLEGAL BS IS THAT!!! No one or no business can obtain my IP address and automatically say I'm locked into a contract! That would be saying if I were looking at People Magazine online they can take my IP address and say I ordered a 3 year subscription... That is not legal or possible in any shape or form!
After sending all pertinent documents to my bank I finally got the $295 put back to my account. Two weeks later I get an email saying that "I-PAYMENT CANCEL FEE" for $350. I immediately filed a claim for this charge and got the originating name and phone number to who took this $350 "Fee". I-PAYMENT IS THE EXACT SAME COMPANY AS ICS!!! How freakin SHADY can this company be where they have multiple names to try to fool the banks when TAKING UNAUTHORIZED MONEY FROM PEOPLE.
After speaking to them for over an hour on the phone with them telling me my contract was with ICS, I-Payment, First Data and all their affiliations, I said you've got to be kidding. 1-I never signed a contract and using my IP address from the contact form is not entering a contract and 2-it would not even be with all the companies or its affiliate companies. Do these people think I'm stupid or something. How do they even think its possible to charge a $295 "Termination Fee" from one of their companies and than charge a $350 "Cancellation Fee" from another one of their companies... ITS UNBELIEVABLE!!! This is such a joke! If they'd like to keep causing problems with my bank account from all of their companies, I HAVE NO PROBLEM SUING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM MOTHER F*ERS not only for the "Termination/Cancellation Fees" But also for the problems it has caused me and my company and the time and hassle dealing with the bank and their company plus all of my legal fees!!!
I am so fed-up, disgusted and appalled by the people running these companies! They belong in jail with all the other robbers and thieves because that's exactly what they do to people!!! Have they even seen their own BBB Ratings! They are all "F" and their complaints are all the exact same!
If any other business will be taking legal action against this company and all of its affiliates for Fraud, Scamming, Lying, Stealing, Negligence etc, I"D BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SUE WITH YOU. This company needs to be shut down!!!
