I booked and paid for a cruise vacation ALMOST 18 months ago. A week ago I called to see what dates were available for the vacation package and was told I could take the Bahamas cruise on Nov 25 and to plan to arrive in Fort Lauderdale on Nov 23. I told the agent, Alisha that I would call back as soon as I could make flight arrangements. She even gave me her extension.
Today, Oct 2, a different agent (Jill) called me to say it had expired but if I paid an ADDITIONAL $977.00 that it would be extended and upgraded. I asked for some time to think but she put me on to another agent (Scott) who told me to book now or forget it and he would close my file and I would forfeit all money. His tone was very aggressive so the call ended badly. He hung up on me! This upset me immensely and reflects poorly on Caribbean Cruise Lines that I do not see how I could ever recommend them and I prefer to look elsewhere for a cruise vacation.
I request to be compensated for the loss of the cruise vacation.
