I was under the pretence that I was purchasing a free trial. My order was shipped on the 23rd september (according to the companies records). I went to the bank today and saw I had been charged £37.50 and a further £75. I am only into my 5th day of the free trial therefore I should not have been charged.
I telephoned this evening to cancel, but decided to keep the call going until I knew for certain that my subscription had been cancelled. I then had to go in again and do the same for the second product. On both occassions by waiting on the telephone, I was able (apparently) to cancel an automatic monthly renewal for both products.
Again by waiting on the telephone, I have wrote down my reference numbers. I fully intend on calling to speak with an advisor tomorrow and also notify my bank of the fraudulent transactions.
