Like many others here, I noticed a charge of 9.95 from KCSOFTLLC COM NY on my credit card, charged 9/1/04.
I called the credit card company and they removed the charge.
I also did the email bit with kcsoftllc.com, and noticed the bogus security certificate.
Also, I did a whois on kcsoftllc.com to see who owned the domain, but they are using an anonymizer service (SpamFly) to hide their actual information. That is actually illegal now, as I understand it.
I hope the credit card companies get enough complaints to go after them. I do wonder how they got my CC number, but then they could have just tried charging random ones. My card is at a major bank, and the first 8 digits of those cards are well known. They can randomly hit some valid cards, just guessing the last 8 digits.
