My daughter was contacted by a Ty Graves of Amarillo (Premier Care in Bathing Salesman), and talked into installing their Walk-in Bathtub/Shower. Even to have a Spa Package for the bathtub/shower added for an additional fee. This company would not respond to her contractor to get things done before Premier Care in Bathing just showed up unannounced to install this piece of junk in her home on June 14.instead of using the crawl space, they cut out the nearly 75 plus year old sub floor of solid wood Oak Floor and an 18 inch floor joist under her home. Premier Care in Bathing tore out her Brand New Plumbing that was just installed (both water and sewer lines) and replaced them with gas lines for water lines and pvc pipe that was not connected. Premier Care in Bathing installers simply used a bead of caulk around some of the PVC pipe and put an entire tube of caulk down her sewer line. All the connections leaked onto electrical wires which could have resulted in electrician. Premier Care in Bathing Installers did not seal the PVC joints; however, they simply used an ordinary tube of white caulking instead of Plumbing Joint Compound or the correct Texas Plumbers Code. The Spa Package has never worked and only half of the air jets work. Premier Care in Bathing did not take out the proper electrical or plumbing permits in the State of Texas nor the City of Amarillo for this installation as the use unlicensed contractors/plumbers/electricians to install their so called high end tubs. They are not licensed in the State of Texas to Practice.
My daughter was contacted by a Mr. Jeff Arnell, in Dallas, Texas whom she was promised by to have a "New Tub" to be installed by a Plumber of her choice, to have her plumbing repaired, her sub floor repaired, her hardy backer board replaced and refinished, the floor joist they cut out replaced, the bathroom tile they broke replaced, the surround of the tub retiled and to have her bathroom restored to its previous condition before Premier Care in Bathing entered her home. My daughter passed out in the tub last week and the front panel/cover came off the tub, which blocked the bathroom door so I could not enter the bathroom to assist my daughter immediately. I had to wait until she regained consciousness and then have her move the panel so I could enter the bathroom. This front panel has never stayed on the tub because of the nearly 3/4 inch gap left around the tub which prevented the tile from being installed on the walls because the gap is too great.
On Tuesday, September 25 she was contacted by a Melissa Allman of Premier Care in Bathing Legal Department, 2330 South Nova Road, South Daytona, Florida 32119. Ms. Allman verbally threatened my daughter and told her NOT to contact Mr. Jeff Arnell again. Ms. Allman told my daughter she had three choice: 1. To allow Premier Care in Bathing back into her home and remove the tub and my daughter has to pay for all damages/repairs to her bathroom that Premier Care in Bathing caused and she would only receive some of what she has paid out of her pocket on this mess, 2. To contact three separate contractors and Premier Care in Bathing and specifically Melissa Allman would determine the scope of work to be approved and performed by contractors, if any, and 3. To allow Premier Care in Bathing back into her home and allow them to do work in her home again with their unlicensed people.
My daughter is totally disabled and she just lost her husband to Pancreatic Cancer on April 20. She lives on exactly $1,000 dollars a month. She used what was left of her husbands insurance and now doesn't even have a safe bathroom to use. She has already been hospitalized three times because of the undue stress caused by this company.
Then today they call and threaten her and tell her she never cooperated with any of the four different plumbing/representatives sent to her home by Premier Care in Bathing. She has allowed everyone that Premier Care in Bathing has sent to Amarillo to come into her home and all four said they have never seen such a F&ed up Job in their Lives. The last contractor that Premier Care in Bathing sent came to my daughters home unannounced as all the rest; however, he came dressed in flip flops, a tee shirt, and shorts. My daughter immediately called the City of Amarillo, Chief Plumbing/Building Safety Inspector and would NOT let this casually dressed man into her home until the Inspector from the City arrived. My daughter has no money to have her Bathroom fixed. May GOD have Mercy on their Souls.
Premier Care in Bathing is a company that prays upon the disabled and elderly and MUST be SHUT DOWN! They only go after the elderly and the disabled (who can not fight them) because of their contract clause that says a person may NOT sue them unless you SUE them through Canada.
I want this Company Put Out of Business. If my daughters dies as a result of the undue stress put on her from this company and the damages done to her home or if she has a serious injury happen to her because of this faulty piece of junk, I will make it my life mission to continue to post notices about this company so that every American and Canadian citizen will know just how corrupt and unjust this international corporation is!!!
