The fact that it is a school policy that administrators can spank children does not necessarily mean that it is legal to be touching children inappropriately whether they use their own hands or use a paddle.

The fact that vice principal, Kirt Shaw, used a paddle on Taylor Santos' bottom fits the definition of sexual assault and battery. Taylor Santos is not of legal age of consent to give permission to be touched in that way.

Now that Kirt Shaw's world is turned upside down thanks to HIS inappropriate actions, I hope he learned something form this experience. He will always be labeled a sex offender in the media regardless if he was doing his job.
