I am moving into a apartment and called Wash Gas Co to set up service. I was told they have to run a Credit Report on the day I move in and then I will find out if I have to put a deposit down. The deposit ranges from 10 dollars to 500 dollars!!! I asked them to run a credit check now so I would know if I had to put down a deposit. They said no, I would find out a week after I move in. So I feel that that this is totally unfair and want the info before I move in! And I don't want any surprises from Wash Gas Co. Also in order to move into my apt, I must have prove that I will have the utilities turned on the day I move in. I don't think I will have to put a deposit, but what about so many others, who would not be able to cook for themselfs or heat the apartment??? I think FREEZING to death would be WASHINTON GAS COMPANY'S FAULT! And we all know this could happen and has happened in the past!!
