I had tickets to an ALCS playoff game. I had to work and could not go so I figured, why not sell them on Stubhub? I listed them for 80 dollars each and then downloaded their mobile app to keep track of the tickets. As it got closer to the game, the tickets were not selling. I reduced the price to $75, using the mobile app produced my Stubhub. Well, somehow, my tickets were listed at $51. I tried to change it right away but it the app would not update the listings, even after I kept trying to change the price back up. Right away, the tickets sold for $51 (they were by far the cheapest tickets at that point.) So now, I was at a pretty bug loss for these tickets. I called Stubhub, who refunded the service fee but I was still left with a pretty big loss, especially considering I did not change the price myself. Stubhub said they would get back to me and did. They said that it was Verizons fault because their service wasn't good at the time, causing the error and, as a result, I am stuck with the loss. It was definitely an "You're SOL" message. I have bought and sold tons of tickets with stubhub, paying upwards of hundreds in service fees. I always recommended them to my friends and thought very highly of them. I was very disappointed after that happened.
