All you have to do to know that this is a scam is this:
1. Phone/fax area codes don't match.
2. No business address on envelope.
3. Company's address should never be a PO Box (on the check).
4."Paycheck" has no water mark on the back, plus it's in black and white.
5. Fonts on the check are all different.
6. Customer Service Evaluation Form (CSEF) is on the back of the "congratulation" (wrong grammer) letter.
7. Notice how you have to send $1,530.00 and $103.44 (service charge) via Western Union?
And really, who on earth is going to send me a check for $1,993.44?
