They did an automatic withdrawl on the 7th. My mom called me one afternoon in August and said that she had received some phone call that needed to update her account information on her health insurance. They asked her for her bank name, routing number, and account number. She told them she did not feel comfortable giving this information out. The man then had her talk to his manager. The manager then told my mom they were refunding some money into her account and that is why they needed this. She didn't feel comfortable giving them the info, but she finally did. About an hour after doing it she called me and told me what she had done. She gave me the 800 number that was on her caller ID and I called. I told them my mother did not want anything to do with them. They asked my mothers phone number and pretended to look at her file. I told them they were to destroy all her info and NOT to touch her account. They told me they would take care of it. I called the BBB and they told me just to watch her account and if anything was taken they would start an investigation. On the 7th there was this withdrawl. The bank traced it back to a phone number that is no longer in service. They said I could fill out a dispute paper and they would credit it back after they investigated it. I am so mad that there are so many dishonest people out there. I have no idea how they even got my mom's name. I have gone in anc closed her account. These people should be dropped in the ocean.
