RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN FLY FLY FLY away from OpticsFast as fast as you can. You WILL be ripped off. I was Ripped off the exact same way as described in this blog and in the comments.

I mailed a pair of my son's Ray-Ban glasses last December. The arm had come off. They quote me $63 plus the shipping and then - I kept calling and emailing (silly me I thought they might be done by Christmas so I could surprise my son). I wanted to know when they would be done. This went on for a month.

Then they let me know they found another $63 repair and it would be easy to fix and then they'd mail the glasses to me pronto. This was about January and I, like an idiot paid, but it took forever to get the glasses. I called and emailed for a month, then going on two months and then—

They told me they weren't confident of the repair and would I like another frame (of course I would have to pay more). I said "no" "mail my glasses". They did and and they arrived with the right optical circular part of the frame broken, thrown in a cardboard box. This was about 31/2 months later in late March. The glasses were not mailed needing this broken repair in December. I think they did it on purpose because I was calling them and emailing 3-4 times weekly. This eye piece was not broken when I mailed it to them. The frame had been discontinued and I was trying to fix it for my son, who loves it.

I was getting on their nerves. Danielle was nice. She was always courteous, but I think she is hired to be nice and stall. It's always "we'll call you right back"."We're so sorry". There was someone else named Cherise, I think. She was always saying let me ring the technician and I'd get put on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on. Becky wasn't nice. Becky is the big guns and she is mean and rude. She probably owns this scam corporation, and by the way you can't see the owners on the NY corporation list.

I tried to find the CEO to write a letter, but I think the writing is on the wall. Whoever, or rather whatever creature serves as CEO or CFO doesn't care squat about the customer. To top it all off I couldn't dispute the charges because it had been too long since they had charged my card. The charges were made in December/January and I got the glasses back in early April. I filled out all the forms for the last charge with my credit card company and they did not find in favor of me. I was completely baffled and it consumed so much of my time that I just gave up.

I emailed OPticsfast and told them what I thought in several emails (they now tried to get me to buy a similar frame at a reduced price; I have already spent about $126 plus shipping). I pleaded to their sense of honesty, integrity and considerate treatment of customers. I am telling you that I was completely ripped off. I paid close to $140 to mail a pair of glasses with a broken arm to receive them back nearly four months later broken in a new spot, unfixed and unwearable. I emailed several times and then—

Becky sent me an email which said:

On our end we show that all work was done and that is the extend of it.
Nobody from our company will respond to your emails any longer.
