I was looking online to purchase a teacup yorkie and I emailed the address for more information. She instantly responded via email and stated that the puppies were for sale for $200 each. She asked very little questions about me before she began go into the process to have the dog shipped. She stated that she needed my name, address, and telephone number. When this info was requested red flags went up for me. She told me that I would be paying money to the airlines to have the dog shipped and that they would call me to give me the details of the flight. I asked her if she could call me for more info and she refused to call and she insisted on emailing. So, I called the airline myself to see if the procedure was indeed correct and it was NOT. Fortunately i am smarter than the average bear and I knew this was a scam the moment she wouldn't call so I didn't lose out on any money but please please please do your research when dealing with things like this. She had scam written all over her.
