On May 26 I purchased 4 kitchen chairs from My Dinette. Doug, the sales person told me the manufacturer was just going into production with the chairs in brown and it would take 2 months for delivery. I thought that was fine and gave them a deposit for $349.00.2 months later, the end of July I called and asked if my chairs had arrived. I was told they were in Atlanta and the shipment would be in Florida next week. Called back the following week and was told my chairs weren’t in that shipment and they do not know when they will arrive. Beatrice the office manager I was told, was on vacation and is the only one who can give me that information and she would be back in 2 weeks. So stupid me, I call back in 2 weeks and speak with Beatrice who gives me a load of bullshit about the manufacturer going into production late on the brown chairs and they are backed up and I am not the only person who is waiting for the chairs she has lots of other people. Told me she would call me as soon as they were in. That was 3 weeks ago. Last Friday, August 30 I called and Beatrice told me they were in Philadelphia, she had that information from the manufacturer, again she will let me know when they are in. Today, Friday, Sept. 7 (3 ½ months later) I called and she is the rudest, nastiest, person I have ever spoken to. Acted like it was my fault the chairs weren’t in. Told me that My Dinette doesn’t own the shipping company and she can’t tell me when the chairs will be in. I told her I wanted a refund of my deposit and she said since the chairs were custom ordered I would need to speak to Doug, who of course wasn’t in the store. So tomorrow I am going over for a refund and I am sure I will not receive it.
I want my $349 back or the chairs delivered by the end of next week. Apparently, if you Google My Dinette, which I wish I had done before purchasing from them, I would have found so many complaints that I am surprised they are still in business, including your website. A number of other people have also ordered merchandise and never received it or their money back.
