Like the others who complained, they just got me too. But this time they "got" an attorney! The call came from Washington on phone # (206) 639-1216, which, of course, remains busy. The "corporate" phone number listed here is out of service. I Googled surveycruise.com and found two great articles: (1) by Ellen Creager, Detroit Free Press, 2/19 (Personal Information Removed) who suggests reporting to the FTC at www.ftccomplaintassist. Gov; FTC's do not call registry at www.donotcall. Gov or 888-382-1222.9I would also suggest calling the Office of the Attorney General in your state and/or in Delaware) (2) by David Lazarus at the LA Times, on 2/19/10 (Personal Information Removed) who warns that they may ask for credit card information for cruise "amenities, " and he tracked them down as surveyclaim.com - operating through Domains by Proxy of Arizona.
I plan to research this "company" and report this criminal violation as well as possibly sue them in civil court. Is anyone up for a possible class action law suit against them? Has anyone been financially damaged by them? I will update the status as information is obtained.
