I have colitis and thought the Health Master would be a terrific way to be able to eat my beloved fruits and vegetables as well as make smoothies, etc., for my family. I admit it sat on my counter, barely used, for a while. But then I got my family into smoothies and I started using it about every other day for a couple of months. It started emitting a black liquid. It is ugly to look at and gets all over the floor (when carrying to sink to clean), the counter and in many place on the machine. It is awful and smells. I have been told that some rubber or a joint or something is breaking down and liquifying. All I know is that the company only stands behind the motor. I am not about to start buying a new top every two or three months. And, face it, what good is the motor without the top? I am leaving it on my counter and when anyone comes over I am telling them not to buy it. (I live in a large community where the kitchen is the heart of the home and almost everyone has a very well equipped kitchen. So we are always comparing items.) Way to go Health Master. Word of mouth is still the best, and cheapest form of advertising.By not standing behind your customers, you think you have saved money, but you have purchased a lot of bad advertising. We could have given you rave results and made many, many, sales for you. (Go read "Raving Fans" or some other book to help you understand what REALLY works in sales.
