Premier Membership Clubs
Consumer Report

Premier Membership Club attempted to take out money from my account on 8/14 and the item was returned on 8/15 because I had no funds at that time. I asked my bank who they were. They gave me their name and phone number.

I had already stopped my direct deposit because my bank was dealing with another company who took out $30.00 (Pacific Advance). After investigating, my bank returned to me the $30.00 from Pacific Advance and the NSF fee and all associated fees from being overdrawn daily. I was very happy and deposited my check on August 22 and was told it would clear by the next morning.

When I checked the next morning it had cleared and this time Premier Membership Club was successful in taking out $99.65. I called that company and was told that their cancellation policy was to go to their website and print out their form, sign it and state that I wish to withdraw my order; attach my bank statement to it and fax it to them. I told the lady, you must think I'm an idiot. You're asking me to withdraw an order I never placed and give you personal bank information. I did tell her I would contact the authorities and my bank and do whatever I could to get them for fraud. Once again my bank has to work on another fraud claim.

However, having this happen twice in less than a three-week span of time, it was suggested to me by my bank to open a separate checking and savings account, which I did. I also have to get new checks, new debit card; notify all the companies that automatically take out payments such as mortgage, renter's insurance, etc, etc.

I transferred all my money to the other account and my bank put a block on the older account so no one could deduct anything in any form what so ever. The only reason I'm leaving it open is when this is resolved for the bank to be able to put the $99.65 back.

I want to tell those who don't know that when speaking to a bank representative today, she told me to go to google and type in Premier Membership Club Issues. You will be shocked. There is an F rating with the BBB; no resolve at all with them regarding anybody who filed a complaint.

Also, there is a Premier Membership Club Scam page. The stories the people were telling are so heartfelt. This has put a damper on so many people. Most live pay check to paycheck and now have been put out for something necessary because of this scam company.

I hope everyone takes the time besides filing a complaint on here to also file complaints with the following agencies: Your local police department/fraud investigations; the Federal Trade Commission Complaint and they will give you a reference number. I live in Michigan, so I contacted www.michigan. Gov/ag ; www.ic3. Gov ; onguardonline. Gov and then transunion and file a fraud alert complaint and they will forward your complaint nationally to the other credit bureaus.

These people need to be stopped. I wish there was a way we could file a class action lawsuit and get one mutual lawyer and have people cooperate. They might not even be reachable, but it has to be worth a shot. They're just going to keep doing this. Look at certain dates and see how many people they've done this to on an average day. They're getting rich.

I wish you all the very best of luck.
