Hi My name is Lyle Reed from Gonubie, East London I am a member at the Gonubie Golf Club & am currently playing off a 4 handicap. I have a set of Callaway Steelhead x16 irons with 'constant weight ulra light'shafts. I do relalise that this is 1 of your older models but in the in the last 2 months I have broken the shafts of my 5,6 and pitching wedge irons in the process of hitting normal gof shots (not hitting trees etc) My question is this? Is it a design fault that this is happening or is it natural wear & tear? A lot of my golfig buddies have older clubs (although different makes of clubs)& they have never broken a shaft on any of their irons. Look forward to your response. Yours in golfLyle Reed
