On the 7th July, I requested a sample from 'Rejuvenex skin' & was asked to pay £2.49 & £3.26. These amounts were debited from my credit card accounton the 9th & 10th July, but for some unknown reason the £3.26 was with a company called 'Illumination'. The on screen ad did not say how much the product was but I hadn't tried it yet so I would inquire if I wanted to order. However, in now knowing the price I would not have ordered. On receipt of my credit card statement I saw that on the 27th July Rejuvenex had debited my account with £94.99. I immediately informed my CC company that I had not ordered this product or authorized Rejuvenex to debit my account. On my behalf they informed the Bank of Rejuvenex not to make any further deductions. I also wrote to Rejuvenex Direct UK Ltd. Returns Department.international House. Unit 2D Gatwick Gate Ind Est. Charlwood Road. Crawley RH11 0TG. Requesting a pre-paid return label with an accompanying letter stating as I have said in the latter. I also asked my CC company, 'Where does 'Illumination' come into this & are they likely to do the same?' Although I do not have the relevant CC statement at this point, they were able to inform me that £66.17 had been debited from my account by 'Illumination' who supplied a product called 'Lush' of which I have no idea about at all. What is going on??? How do these companies get away with this, let us get it stopped, please. One seems to be unable to get in touch with these people to question what they are doing & stop them, as some other people have conveyed. Whilst very inconvenient, I have had my CC blocked from these people. Hopefully these ghastly companies can save some people from this awful scam. I feel embarrassed that by requesting a couple of silly little samples that it has led to my present situation, one thing is for sure, I will never do so again. Joy.
