Legacy Or Tradewinds Or Whatever They Call Themselves
Consumer Report

Received in mail a Happy Birthday voucher for free 8 day/7 night cruise plus 2 free round trip tickets and all you had to do was to listen to how Legacy does business. When we got there it wasn't Legacy it was Tradewinds. After being sent to the wrong place and having to travel an extra 1 hour, we sat down to what turned out to be a usual sales rap. They say no pressure - lie, lie, lie. After we decided not to buy into their vacation club, we were immediately snubbed and told that they just (conveniently) ran out of vouchers and that they would be mailed. Of course, they were never received. The SALESMEN refused to talk to us after we turned down their "how can you pass this up chance in a lifetime offer" and was downright rude! Several timeshare organizations that offer you free items to get you to listen to their sales pitch, will actually deliver. These people never intended to provide anything free to you! Beware beware. They were operating out of Candlewood Suites during the month of August in the Woodlands, TX and stated they would be in Clear Lake in September. Those of you in clear lake who received anything in the mail that says happy birthday and has carnival's name on it - do not go to their "45 minute" presentation. This is an upfront scam. I fail to understand how they can FALSELY advertise and not deliver and continue to get away with it.
