I just received a USPS Priority Delivery from New Jersey Institute of Tech, Newark NJ with a check enclosed for $2,350. The Business address on the check is RHC, 6621 N Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, IL 60714 remitted from Highland Park Bank and Trust. A note was also enclosed with the following msg.
"Hello,
We assume you just received a payment with you (bad English - first clue might be a scam) and we would like an urgent response/confirmation from you regarding the payment delivery, and we would urge you to verify this payment by responding to the email information below:
Reply to E-mail: [email protected]
Your prompt email response will be appreciated and you will be given further instructions/directions about the processing of the payment immediately.
NOTE: We advise you to FIRST make all response to the above EMAIL account for further steps to be taken regarding the payment you received."

I read the other complaint so I did not follow through and call the bank or look up the company. I just tossed the check.
