We have made every attempt to get a refund for the repair and roadside service for the defective truck we were provided. Not only was its fuel guage defective but it took over six hours to restart with the use of two cans of ether and the aid of my friend and me who have a combined experience of over 20 years with diesel vehicles.
We were left on the side of the interstate past midnight with no offer to have the truck towed and to cover hotel expenses. On top of that we had a 8 year old cat with us who was not at all pleased to be cooped up in a cage for an extra nine hours (3 hours for road service to arrive and 6 hours for repair). Our cat literally went into hiding for three days following the incident. The only response received from Budget is "it's not a covered expense". What ever happen to good customer service? Talk about being treated like dirt!
