Nu Brillance Microdermabrasion System offers a 30 day trial
for $14.95, you are required to provide credit card information before you see your total, you are then asked to upgrade your order with many products, finally a confirmation of your trial for $14.95 (basically the cost of S/H) and in my case $22.30 for Sales Tax, this is the tax charged should you purchase the product, which you have not done until after the 30 days. Is this tax refunded if you don't purchase the unit? The representative I spoke to did not know? Is this company paying the state for the tax they collected on items they did not sell? It's not neccessarily the money, it's the misleading promotions and the thousands of other customers they will collect sales tax from before they have actually purchased something. They are making a profit not in their product, but on the sales tax scam. The representatives and their supervisor are "talking heads" that only say things like "we can't do that"
or "we have no control over what the website says". Really...
This is not a good company, if you ever have a problem you have no protection and no recourse.
