I applied for a loan in Jan for 500 dollars. The loan was approved. The total of the loan was to be 650 dollars to be debited out of my account for four payments. From jan- mar. Well i was looking over my bank statements and behold ameriloan has taken money from my account from jan-july 30 th for the amount of 1,113.97 to 1,420. Well l called and spoke to tiffany and shannon and basically they said suck it up.
Terms of your agreement were after the loan was payed we gave you the option to renew via email so when you didnt it automatically renewed. I did not receive any more monies from ameriloan. But ameriloan say the automated debiting renewed which was terms of the contract because i did not respond after the debt was paid. Which would make sense. But no i am still paying. When called ameriloan said well now your debt is paid in full.
My question was how did we get from 650 dollars if i missed no payment to over 1,113.47. Their response was we will not confirm we took that amount or over what was agreed upon. We will not dislose to you how much money we took from you. That was shannon their rep. If you want to know how much money we took from contact your financial institution. But i will not tell you how mcuh money we took from your account. Well is over the amount agreed upon which was 650 anything over that is fraud in my opinion.
