I feel like such a SUCKER for being so naive and gullible thinking I was helping 2 girls win an opportunity for a trip to Europe - but instead I was taken advantage of. It irritates me more that I was just laid off from my job a month before they arrived at my door and I used what little money I could spare to get them closer to their dream trip. It's been over 6 months and yet I have not received my Reader's Digest subscription when they said it would take about 6 weeks. The check I wrote was cleared almost immediately and I'm still left empty handed. $65.00 doesn't much to complain over and be heated about - but being unemployed and only receiving barely a quarter of my salary I was making... That money I could have used to buy my infant daughter formula and diapers instead of an empty promise. I really hope that the company stops this scam and the young adults they use gather their senses and figure out how unethical this is. I hope one day that everyone who has been scammed, including myself, all find some resolution to this.
