My landlord Joseph Maximovich rented me a house with electrical hazards and stealing my electricity from December 2 to March. My bill was near 700.00 dollars. I had my electricity turned off in March. I lost 200.00 in groceries because of the electricity being shut off.in March it was extremely cold and I had nowhere to go. I had to sleep in this rental property in that condition. Since the entire house is run by electricity I couldn't bathe. I paid rent on time and I always paid over the amount of the bill to catch up and it was impossible. I then had to have my boyfriend put electric bill in his name and we compared the bills. He was the one who noticed all of the electricity being pulled from my rental. We called it to Mr. Maximovichs attention. He then stated since I paid June rent I would not have to pay July or August rent 2012 and move On Sept 1. This was the agreement. I even signed a paper that I would move on that date. On this day August 6 he handed me a 3 day notice to vacate premises due to non payment of rent and I asked him why? Was he doing this when he agreed I leave in Sept. He then said, nothing personal and left. I am on disability and feel that he took advantage of me.
