Sky over charged my account saying it was my fault because when i installed my hd box i didnt put a prefix code in that i was unaware i needed one, because my phone number is exdirectory. I contacted them on many occassions written, emails and by telephone but to noavaile. They said that they contacted me for 3 months by letter, of which i didnt recieve. When i challenged them about the letters they said its up to me to proove i didnt recieve them. Because i feel we were going round in circles and not getting anywhere i ask my bank for an imdemity payment from sky because the payments they were taking were not the payments that i had set up with them in my contract. After more letters and phone calls sky still believe the fault was on my behalf, and they are referring the balance to their debt collectors, even after i send them a letter saying im prepared to pay them back the money that was in my contract with them, but im not prepared to pay back the over payments that they took.
