I just noticed 3 separate charges for $40 (spread over about three weeks) on my statement.
Called apple and they said that four accounts had been created with the same number and that three of them had purchased one $40 gift card. Each gift card had already been redeemed.
Filed report with bank.
Glad I caught it before the amount grew any further.
BTW I have never purchased anything from Apple (Though my card apparently has).
