Just a few days after my husband got his shoes they started to swueek. He dealt with it "a long time" until one of his customers heard the shoes and handed him information on returns. So, when we had money to buy a pair of clearance shoes at WalMart we did and sent the shoes and explained they have been qqueeking since we got them. Their shipment direcitons weren't clear enough so I ended up having to ship them twice costing us $50 all in the hopes they would see the problem and at LEAST reimburse us for the shipping. But we got our shoes back and not a penny and no new shoes. They said in the letter that the problem appears to be caused by normal ear and tear. How can that be if the squeeking started shortly after buying them??? We, and all my husbands customers suffered through the constant squeeking. I guess they are assuming becasue there IS wear and tear that that is what cause dit. What caused the wear and tear is the Annoyance of having to wear the shoes until we knew we could return them and had the money for another pair of shoes. This is SO wrong. P dollars down the drain to people who don't take good notes that the shoes have been squeeking since we GOT THEM. At the end they say all inspector decissions are final. So basically they called us a liar and the $50 we spent mainling them was thrown down the drain. We are low income. We aren't going to be using money we don't hjave much of to send shoes we wore out on our own in order to MAKE them squeek! Ridiculous. It makes me feel that for all intents and purposes they are calling us LIARS. And we are NOT lying. Then when I tried to explain things after the fact they are sitting with notes trying to catch me on any little detail I am not saying the same way as before so they can technically deny that they should reimburse the shippment or do ANYTHING which shows that they are a Compassionate and Honest Business. And not just a comapny who will utilize any means necessary not to give anythign back. For sure Nike does not have a policy that " the customer is alwasy right".. Or even the costomer could be confused or even wrong but let's be gracious and do SOMETHING for them... Not a 25% discount on a new pair. What kind of consolation is THAT??
