For years I wondered about this alleged "church" who wants to Pray for me. Now I have comfirmation that Saint Matthew's Churches in Tulsa Oklahoma is definately a SCAM!!!
I have over the years sent in donations from time to time & I always seemed to get some kind of correspondence either by letter of one of their "devotional" books on the promises of God, on any subject mostly on money and faith building. But what allerted me that this may be a scam is that since Ive moved I now attend a local church and felt my "giving" thru tithes was enough and stopped participating in the "activites by mail" with saint matthew's churches. I send no forwarding address, nor did I write to tell anyone—not even the "old Bishop"—lol - I was moving. About 3 months later I received one of their books addressed to me at my NEW address??? Hum? I thought, how did they know how to find me??? And then the letters started coming in by the boatloads!!! I was getting letters for July in June??? Ok where they do that at??? I havent sent them anything for months—maybe over a year now, as I regularly attend a local church and I love it. And of course I know God aint trying to take All my money for REAL!!! LOL So I decided there was something really wrong with this situation, as these letters are now cluttering up my living room table, so I decided to go online and check it out.
To my surprise—well not really—there it was—Saint Matthew's Churches a SCAM!!! Wow, well they get no more money from me. Ive bought and paid for enough of these elaborate attention getting mailers, books and letters to last 3 life times. This second one I just for July—yes I received 2 letters for the month of July has enclosed in it a paper one million dollar bill as a prayer cloth for financial blessing—yeah right!!! Not even God wants us to be stupid enough to fall for every thing addressing our financial needs by giving what we dont have enough of - MONEY - with these dollar store trinkets. Oh yea, and I love this part of the letter—"maybe you were planning to do something else with the money but God wants to bless you thru sowing your biggest and best seed."
Please dont NOBODY take away from the money you have for your bills, rent, mortgage, or anything else to send to these people. Trust me they have more than enough of other people's money to get the economy out of recession for the next 4 Preseidential terms!!! Ive read where so many people have given who were already on fixed incomes and/or struggling with other hardships. Well my advice—find a local church anywhere in your area, worship with those you can actually "see hear and talk to" and who may have access to resources that may be able to help you, and who can pray with you in your presence—Saint Matthew's Churches is a demonic wormhole waiting to suck the life out of you and your bank account!!!
