Done the scratchie thing in the mall, won a choice of a prize, went to the presentation and (fool for me) signed up and got their finance. Won a small TV (and I'm sure I won the TV as I was the ONLY one who signed up on the night) and a Buy One Get One Free Cruise anywhere in the world. First problem: Booked an apartment for a long weekend down the Gold Coast (very impressed with the accomodation), however, found out after that I could have got something similar for around half the price. Went to "Cash In" my Buy One Get One Free Cruise and was told the "Buy One" starts at $2000! Hmmm, I went online and found prices where TWO of us could travel for way less than that! Found out that they could do car hire too and could even book flights for me (although flights would not be at a discounted price - but hey, the convenience of it all!). They came back to me with flight prices of around $500 per person (to NZ - 3 Adults) and Car Hire of around $900. I thought that a bit steep, so did my own 'shopping' around and found my flights for $750 incl taxes for all 3 of us and car hire for $400. OMG! How can they justify the difference? I wrote and made a major complaint and said that I didn't want to be part of there "club" anymore, I'm definitely not getting value for money and to withdraw me as I'd never use them again! Only to be told, my complaint was not enough reason to cancel my membership. Getting angry now, I stopped my payments, but that didn't help as all that would have done was given me bad credit!!! I sent many emails back arguing my point, but they still said No... Now, I feel like hunting down there Kiosks in the malls and standing there and telling people not to join up as they are just one big rip off!!! Hang on, I might still do that!
